Nigeria Voters Education is a non governmental agency domiciled in Nigeria, created with the objective of sensitizing the populace on their rights to vote.

Brief history of the party: The Party was formally registered in 2003 in time for the general elections. Its aim was to rival the ruling Peoples Democratic Party for power. The party was largely seen as an Igbo party which has limited its spread over the years. Odumegwu Ojukwu ran for presidency under the party umbrella in 2003.
Highest position attained by the party: The party has produced several House of Representatives members and a few state governors

Each Executive Committee shall have a standing sub-committee to be known as the Working Committee whose composition and functions shall be as spelled out in this Constitution.

How do I join the party: Conditions for Membership Membership of the Party shall be open to all Nigerians, irrespective of their religion, ethnic group, place of birth, gender, social and economic status, provided that:
The person is at least 18 years of age.
The person is not a member of another political party or if he/she was such a member, has resigned such membership and shall show evidence of his/her resignation.
The person shall not be a serving Public Officer, a member of the Armed Forces of Nigeria, the Police, or a Traditional Ruler.
Application for membership shall be on an individual basis.
A prospective member shall register at the Ward he ordinarily resides in or his Ward of origin.
